Assets are weighted by telemetry intensity and investigation depth, not counted flat. A domain controller is not a laptop, and pretending otherwise would either overcharge you or bankrupt us.
Weighting is applied when we scope your environment, from an inventory you already have. It does not turn into a meter: your bill still never moves with alert volume.

FortMind pricing is based on monitored assets (endpoints + servers) rather than unpredictable metrics like alert volume. This gives you predictable costs—you know exactly how many assets you're protecting. We also consider factors like deployment complexity, support requirements, and any custom development needed. Since we're an early-stage startup, we're offering flexible terms for early adopters.
Any asset that generates security telemetry flowing into FortMind — but assets are weighted by class, not counted flat. Standard covers end-user endpoints and standard identities. Workload covers servers, VMs, container hosts, cloud compute, databases and production SaaS tenants. Privileged covers admin identities, domain controllers, identity providers, cloud org and root accounts, internet-facing production, and the security tooling itself. A workload or privileged asset costs more than a laptop because it emits more telemetry and its investigations go deeper. Weighting is applied when we scope your environment, so your bill still doesn't move with alert volume — it reflects what you asked us to watch.
Asset counts aggregate across your whole client book rather than being priced client by client, and volume bands apply as the book grows. Multi-tenancy is how the platform is built, not an add-on you pay extra for: tenant isolation, per-client reporting and per-client autonomy settings come as standard. We'd rather work the specific numbers with you than publish bands that won't fit your mix — bring your client count and a typical client profile and we'll scope against them.
Yes! Annual commitments typically receive 15-20% discounts compared to monthly pricing. We also offer special pricing for early adopters, non-profits, and educational institutions. Multi-year contracts can unlock additional savings.
We design tiers with reasonable buffers to accommodate growth. If you consistently exceed your tier's asset count, we'll work with you to upgrade to the appropriate tier or add capacity. There are no surprise overage charges—we'll always discuss options before any changes.
Absolutely! We offer proof-of-concept (POC) deployments for qualified organizations. Typically 30-60 days, where you can test FortMind with real alerts in your environment. This helps you validate ROI before making a full commitment. Contact sales to discuss a POC.
All tiers include technical support for platform issues, integration assistance, and help with playbook configuration. Professional and Enterprise tiers get faster response times and more proactive support. Enterprise customers get a dedicated success manager and regular business reviews.
Yes! We provide onboarding, integration setup, custom playbook development, and training. Basic onboarding is included in all tiers. Advanced professional services (custom integrations, extensive playbook development, analyst training) are available as add-ons.
You retain full ownership of all your data. Upon cancellation, we'll provide a complete export of your investigation history, playbooks, and configurations in standard formats. We'll delete your data from our systems within 30 days of cancellation, per your request.
