Our story.
FortMind was founded in 2024 by a security operations veteran who lived the SOC analyst burnout crisis firsthand.
While building and managing SOC infrastructure for major organizations, our founder saw the same pattern everywhere: brilliant analysts drowning in alerts, spending hours on manual investigations, missing critical threats due to alert fatigue, and ultimately burning out.
As a core team member at a fast-growing Singapore startup, he helped reduce incident resolution time by 40% through intelligent automation. But even that wasn't enough. The fundamental problem remained: humans couldn't keep up with the volume of alerts.
The breakthrough came with the emergence of agentic AI—autonomous systems that can reason, plan, and act independently. Unlike traditional automation that required explicit programming for every scenario, agentic AI could handle novel situations it had never seen before.
In early 2024, we began building the first autonomous SOC platform using cutting-edge AI agent technology. The vision was clear: a security operations center that could investigate thousands of alerts simultaneously, learn from every incident, and free human analysts to focus on strategic security initiatives.
